We don't make the same mistakes as our parents. We make entirely different ones. They say every generation thinks it's smarter than the previous and wiser than the next. History repeats itself. Our parents were once us. Someday, we'll be them. I wonder whether they too told themselves that they'll never make the same mistakes as their parents. I wonder whether we'll be any more successful than them.
