Blooper
I should have known. I should have run screaming when the proposal was brought to me. Did I? NOOOoooo. Instead, I had to convince myself that I could actually pull off five minutes on camera without fainting.
Well I didn't faint, but words like 'fiasco', 'blunder', 'blooper', 'near-calamity' come to mind. Never underestimate the effect of that big, black camera lens staring at you like a black hole about to devour you in one big... < shudder >
It was just an un-scripted, un-rehearsed interview, with really no pressure, but I still felt like being on the verge of molecular breakdown. The decision to wear a paper bag over my head for the rest of my life depends on how the edited version will look like (which I'll get to see in a few days).
No more cameras. I think I'll stick to writing.
